Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the team.
- Interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate estimates for windows, doors, and curtain walling projects. Producing material take-offs and pricing using industry software.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and specifications. Preparing and submitting professional, competitive quotations in line with company margins and customer expectation.
- Managing amendments, variations, and technical queries throughout the tender process. Supporting the wider sales and contracts team with pricing insights and technical support.
- Weekly / Monthly reports as requested .
Candidate Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within the window, door, or curtain walling sector is essential.
- Confident reading and interpreting architectural drawings and technical specification.
- Familiarity with fenestration estimating software (Window Designer, Logikal, Business Micros) highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal team.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
