The Assembly Fabricator will primarily be based at our Lopen Business Centre working within our Trade Window Fabrication Workshop. As Assembly Fabricator you will be responsible for the preparation, cutting, machining, and building of all aluminium products.  In addition, you will be responsible for organising goods in, to stock and be responsible for preparation of materials. On occasion, you may be required to assist external engineers on local jobs of multiple descriptions, from delivery of materials to installation of all products we offer as a business.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate multiple types of window, shopfront and curtain walling aluminium systems 
  • Follow company process to ensure output quality is of high standard
  • Demonstrate excellent housekeeping standards 
  • Deliver basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment 
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by your line manager

Requirements:

  • Capability to follow instruction, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Confident operating power tools safely.
  • Be safety conscious (as glass can be fragile and hazardous)
  • Confidence in talking with colleagues, and other trades
  • Previous experience not necessary, full training will be provided
