Sales Executive - Birmingham, South East, South Wales or South West

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Sales Executive role is about generating sales leads & sales to support our Service Department, Training Services and for associated products and services.

The position is suited to highly motivated, driven individuals who enjoy face to face meetings with customers and prospects and thrive on the teamwork required to partner with the Sales team.

You will need to be organised and prepared to engage with the full range of sales activities.

DUTES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Making sales calls and prospecting for new business and clients
  • Managing new service agreements and supporting customers with equipment service offerings to manage maintenance and H&S standards
  • Responsible for increasing service customer base, driver training & casual hire within designated territory by planned visits over agreed areas
  • Delivery of Company catalogue and point of sale information to highlight additional transaction/sales opportunities
  • Finding machine, racking and mezzanine and access and security sales opportunities and partnering with the Area Manager/Key Account Manager to take to the next sales stage

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in MHE or associated industries wouold be an advantage
  • Good IT skills MS Office suite including excel and word
  • Ability to work alone and as an integral part of a team
  • Enjoy selling and working with others
  • English and Maths GCSE along with good writing skills

Knowledge and technical skills

  • Strong presentation skills to support results

Other requirements

  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to organise self and workload
  • Able to travel longer distances when required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
