National Account Manager / Key Account Manager

The Dunstall Holdings Group contains two business streams which are involved in agricultural and industrial applications. The Group has 7 different locations in the UK and with a turnover of over £120m employs over 240 people.

Altegra Integrated solutions (previously Lift West and Amvar) has grown to become one of the UK's leading independently owned forklift truck and material handling equipment service providers, and provides storage & workplace solutions, facilities management, training, hire and servicing to its customers with 2 sites located across the UK.

We offer an individual solution for all our customer’s facility needs including forklift trucks, industrial and commercial doors, and general industrial equipment, to also cover pallet racking systems, mezzanine floors, operator training and much more.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

COVERING POSTCODES - HP/MK/LU/AL/SL/RH/GU/NN

The National Account Manager will be responsible for securing and developing National Accounts (Fleets of circa 100+), with the responsible for managing service level agreements (SLAs).  This includes negotiating specifications, developing solutions and proposals and managing profitability of each account. This is a Senior Sales role that is integral to our business and growth aspirations.

DUTES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Targeting and focusing on specific end-users (100+ fleets) and sell complete Altegra portfolio
  • Providing bespoke tailored proposal to meet clients’ needs
  • Establish SLA terms and conditions, along with management and adherence to them
  • Accountability for unit sales & profitability
  • Managing long standing client relationships and secure incremental business through excellent service delivery
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to customers and Sales Manager
  • Sales forecasting

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in MHE or associated industries
  • Proven experience in dealing with the larger fleet users
  • Good IT skills MS Office suite including excel and word
  • Ability to work alone and as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to improvise in order to achieve goals
  • Good organisational skills

Knowledge and technical skills

  • Broad knowledge of the Racking & Mezzanine / Access & Security / Materials Handling Industry would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to support results in identified areas

  • Full driving licence
  • Motivated by goals & targets
  • Able to travel long distances when required
